What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, digital copies of marketing materials are provided to franchisees via the company intranet, as available. Degree Wellness also retains the right to charge franchisees for hard or digital copies of marketing materials at their discretion.

This means that as a Degree Wellness franchisee, you can expect to access marketing resources through the company's intranet. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, allowing for efficient distribution of approved marketing content. However, the FDD also states that Degree Wellness may charge for these materials, so franchisees should factor in potential costs for accessing marketing resources.

It is important to note that franchisees are restricted in advertising on the internet or having their own website online, as stated in the Franchise Agreement. Additionally, franchisees may develop their own advertising and promotional materials, but these must be submitted to Degree Wellness for written approval. Degree Wellness will not unreasonably withhold approval, but if no response is provided within 15 days, the materials are deemed unapproved. Franchisees are also required to spend a minimum of $2,500 per month on local advertising, promotion, and marketing, in addition to any contributions to the Fund and the Technology Fee.
