Can Degree Wellness modify or replace the Copyrighted Works used by franchisees?

According to the 2025 Degree Wellness Franchise Disclosure Document, Degree Wellness has the right to modify, discontinue the use of, and/or replace any of the Copyrighted Works. If Degree Wellness deems it advisable to do so, franchisees must comply with their directions within a reasonable time after receiving notice. This includes using additional or substituted copyrighted items.

This means that Degree Wellness franchisees must be prepared to adapt to changes in the materials they use to operate their franchise. These copyrighted works include the operations manual, training materials, and advertising. Degree Wellness is not obligated to reimburse franchisees for any expenditures made to modify or discontinue the use of any Copyrighted Work or to adopt additional or substitute copyrighted items.
