Who does the Degree Wellness franchisee pay the Technology Fee to?

According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is required to pay the monthly Technology Fee. The FDD specifies that this fee covers certain Website and technology-related services and expenses, as well as any fees relating to required human resources and payroll services. The Technology Fee is defined and discussed further in Section 11.4 of the agreement.

While the document states that the franchisee must pay the Technology Fee, it does not explicitly state to whom the Technology Fee is paid.

Prospective Degree Wellness franchisees should ask the franchisor for clarification on who the Technology Fee is paid to, and how the amount of the fee is determined.
