Explanatory Notes:
(1) This table and the accompanying notes describe the nature and amount of all other payments that you must pay to us or our affiliates or that we or our affiliates collect on behalf of third parties, on a recurring basis, whether on a regular periodic basis or as infrequent anticipated expenses, in carrying on your Degree Wellness Studio. Except for some product and service purchases (see Item 8) and advertising cooperative payments (see Item 11) or as otherwise noted in this FDD, all fees are uniform (except in states which may prohibit us from charging fees, such as the Continuing Franchise Fee or Fund contribution, based on a percentage of your gross revenue or as otherwise provided by law), and are imposed by, collected by, and payable to us. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise expressly noted. These fees are not based on referrals of patients, the number of patients treated, or the amount of products purchased.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, most fees are non-refundable. Specifically, the FDD states that "all fees are non-refundable unless otherwise expressly noted," with exceptions made for some product and service purchases (detailed in Item 8) and advertising cooperative payments (detailed in Item 11).
However, if a Degree Wellness franchisee overpays the Continuing Franchise Fee and Fund contribution due to an inaccurate initial debit, the excess amount will be credited back. The franchisor will credit the excess amount, without interest, against the amount they would otherwise debit from the franchisee's account during the following month.
Prospective Degree Wellness franchisees should carefully review Item 8 and Item 11 of the FDD to understand the specific conditions under which product and service purchases or advertising cooperative payments may be refundable. It is also important to understand the conditions under which termination fees may be unenforceable, as noted in the remarks regarding termination fees.
