to us that you are not acquiring the rights granted under this Agreement with the intent to generate funds to channel to any individual or entity engaged in, contemplating, or supporting terrorist activity, or to otherwise support or further any terrorist activity.
- c. All advertising you employ must be completely factual, in good taste (in our judgment), and conform to the highest standards of ethical advertising and all legal requirements. You agree that in all dealings with us, your customers, your suppliers, and public officials, you will adhere to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, fair dealing and ethical conduct. You further agree to refrain from any business or advertising practice that may be harmful to the business of Degree Wellness, the Franchise, and/or the goodwill associated with the Marks and other Degree Wellness franchises.

You must notify us in writing within 5 days of (1) the commencement of any action, suit, or proceeding, and/or of the issuance of any order, writ, injunction, award, or decree of any court, agency, or other governmental unit, that may adversely affect your and/or the Franchise's operation, financial condition, or reputation, including, without limitation, any and all claims of malpractice brought against you or any professional affiliated with you, regardless of the nature of the claim, anticipated outcome or remedies sought; and/or (2) your receipt or knowledge any notice of violation of any law, ordinance, or regulation relating to health or safety.

Furthermore, franchisees are prohibited from engaging in transactions with individuals or entities involved in terrorism, as outlined in Executive Order 13224. This includes representing that they do not engage in acts of terrorism or support any individuals or entities involved in terrorist activities. This provision underscores the importance of maintaining ethical and legal compliance in all financial and business operations, ensuring that the Degree Wellness brand is not associated with any illicit activities.
