What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to renew a franchise for an additional 10-year term, a franchisee must sign the then-current franchise agreement, any ancillary documents, and a general release of any and all claims against Degree Wellness, its officers, directors, employees, and agents.

The new franchise agreement that Degree Wellness requires franchisees to sign may contain materially different terms and conditions than the original Franchise Agreement. The franchisee's right to renew is contingent upon their acceptance of these new terms and conditions.

In addition to signing the required documents, the franchisee must maintain possession of the premises and refurbish and redecorate in compliance with Degree Wellness's then-current requirements or obtain and develop suitable substitute premises. They must also correct any deficiencies in the operation of the franchise identified in Degree Wellness's written notice to them prior to expiration and pay a renewal fee, as detailed in Item 6 of the FDD.
