As we deem appropriate, provide you and your staff with additional, on-going, and supplemental training programs (Franchise Agreement – Section 4.2).
We, or our designee, may hold mandatory and optional training programs for you and your staff regarding new equipment, techniques, services or products, and other appropriate subjects.
We may decide to hold these training programs at our own initiative, or in response to your request for additional or special training.
We will determine the location, frequency, and instructors of these training programs.
You must also pay for all travel, lodging, meal, and personal expenses related to your attendance and the attendance of your personnel.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Degree Wellness determines the location, frequency, and instructors for any additional training programs it deems appropriate for franchisees and their staff. Degree Wellness may initiate these training programs or respond to a franchisee's request for additional training.
As a Degree Wellness franchisee, you or your staff may be required to attend these additional training programs. The FDD states that the franchisee is responsible for all associated costs, including wages, travel, lodging, and meal expenses for all attendees.
This level of control over training programs is common in franchising, as it allows Degree Wellness to maintain brand standards and ensure consistent service quality across all locations. However, franchisees should be prepared to budget for these ongoing training expenses and ensure their staff is available to attend required sessions.
