What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, before starting construction on your Degree Wellness Studio, you must submit the final construction plans and specifications to Degree Wellness for their approval. You are also required to construct the studio in accordance with the approved plans and specifications.
Degree Wellness provides you with a set of plans, specifications, and other materials that include their suggestions and requirements for layout, equipment, fixtures, decorations, and signs. You are then required to use an architect designated or approved by Degree Wellness to modify these plans to comply with local ordinances, building codes, permit requirements, and lease requirements applicable to the premises.
This process ensures that the studio adheres to Degree Wellness's brand standards and complies with all local regulations, which is a common practice in franchising to maintain consistency and quality across all locations. Failing to obtain approval or deviating from the approved plans could result in non-compliance and potential penalties or delays in opening your Degree Wellness Studio.
