Except as specifically disclosed above in this Item, we do not make any representations about a franchisee's future financial performance or the past financial performance of company-owned or franchised outlets. We also do not authorize our employees or representatives to make any such representations either orally or in writing. If you are purchasing an existing outlet, however, we may provide you with the actual records of that outlet. If you receive any other financial performance information or projections of your future income, you should report it to the franchisor's management by contacting Amanda Watts c/o Degree Wellness Franchise, LLC, in writing, at 106 E. Liberty Street, Suite 310, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104, or by phone at (734) 619-0919, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Degree Wellness's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Degree Wellness does not authorize its employees or representatives to make any financial performance representations, either orally or in writing. This is a common practice among franchisors, as financial performance representations are closely regulated by the FTC. Franchisees should be wary of any claims made outside of the official FDD.
However, if a prospective franchisee is purchasing an existing Degree Wellness outlet, the franchisor may provide the actual records of that specific outlet. This allows the potential franchisee to review concrete financial data for that location.
The FDD also instructs prospective franchisees to report any unauthorized financial performance information or projections they receive to Degree Wellness's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agencies. This measure aims to ensure transparency and compliance with franchise regulations.
