According to the 2025 Crowne Plaza FDD, Six Continents Hotels, Inc. (SCH) granted licenses to InterContinental Hotels Group (Asia Pacific) Pte. Ltd. (IHGAP) for the Crowne Plaza mark in specific territories. This grant occurred through an assignment in November 2010, which was amended in April 2024. IHGAP now offers licenses on a regional basis outside of the Americas.
The territories included in this grant are Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, French Polynesia, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vanuatu, and Vietnam. These territories are collectively referred to as the "IHGAP Territories" within the FDD.
In June 2023, SCL granted IHGAP licenses for the voco and Vignette Collection marks within the same IHGAP Territories.
