What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Crowne Plaza FDD, the agreement for services consists of several documents that can be modified and supplemented from time to time. These Contract Documents include the application, MPA Addendum, Terms and Conditions, the Your Payments Acceptance Guide, the Fee Schedule, any other Schedules (including Interchange Rate Schedules), and any addenda, amendments, supplements, or Schedules to the foregoing. These documents collectively form the agreement governing the use of services provided to the franchisee.
The FDD states that no alterations to the agreement will be accepted and, if made, any such alterations shall not apply. However, IHG reserves the right to lower (but not to increase) the NGP Transaction Fee upon notice to the Hotel. Additionally, IHG may modify the NGP Monthly Fee by no more than 10% annually upon notice to Hotel.
Prospective Crowne Plaza franchisees should be aware that while the agreement is binding, certain fees are subject to change by IHG. Specifically, the NGP Transaction Fee can be lowered at IHG's discretion, and the NGP Monthly Fee can be modified annually by up to 10% with notice. Franchisees should factor these potential changes into their financial planning and understand the conditions under which these modifications can occur.
