What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Crowne Plaza Franchise Disclosure Document, hotels must consistently adhere to the brand standards for both Revenue Management Certification and Sales staffing. These specific requirements may be different for dual-brand hotels operating under the Crowne Plaza name.

IHG may require Crowne Plaza hotels to participate in IHG Commercial and IHG Revenue Services. IHG Revenue Services includes revenue management advisory services and Yielding, Pricing & Inventory Management services performed with the hotel. IHG Commercial Services is a broader program that includes revenue management advisory services; Yielding, Pricing & Inventory Management advisory services; sales & property support advisory services; and digital marketing and activation services performed with the hotel.

If participation in IHG Commercial and IHG Revenue Services is required, the franchisee must sign either the IHG Commercial Services Agreement or the IHG Revenue Services Agreement. The agreement lasts for twelve months but can be terminated by either party with ninety days' written notice. The agreement will also terminate if the hotel uses an uncertified third-party intermediary. The term is automatically renewed for successive one-year periods unless at least thirty days' written notice is given before the end of the current term. Franchisees should inquire with the franchisor about the specific brand standards and any associated costs to ensure compliance.
