What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Crowne Plaza Franchise Disclosure Document, the total signage package, including all additional signage, must meet Holiday's specifications and be purchased from a Holiday-approved sign vendor. This includes the primary sign, which must also meet Holiday's specifications.
This requirement ensures brand consistency across all Crowne Plaza locations, maintaining a uniform look and feel for customers. A post-inspection fee will be included in the price from the Holiday-approved sign vendor.
Only sign suppliers approved by Holiday are authorized to manufacture and install exterior signs. This restriction gives Crowne Plaza control over the quality and appearance of its signage, but it also limits the franchisee's choice of vendors and potentially increases costs, as they cannot seek out potentially cheaper, non-approved suppliers.
