Under what circumstances might Crown Gold Exchange approve a franchisee's relocation request?
Crown_Gold_Exchange Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
You do not have the right to relocate your business, and we have no obligation to approve any request for relocation. Our policy is to approve relocation of a franchisee's business on caseby-case basis, considering factors such as changes in demographics, profitability of your current business, or a loss of your premises due to circumstances beyond your control.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crown Gold Exchange's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees do not have a guaranteed right to relocate their business. Any relocation request is subject to Crown Gold Exchange's approval, which is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Crown Gold Exchange's policy is to consider relocation requests based on specific factors. These factors include significant changes in the demographics of the area surrounding the current location, the current business's profitability, or if the franchisee loses access to their current premises due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., fire, eminent domain).
For a prospective Crown Gold Exchange franchisee, this means that while relocation is not automatically granted, there are specific circumstances under which the franchisor may consider and approve a move. It is important to note that approval is not guaranteed even if one or more of these factors are present.
