What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crown Gold Exchange's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, System Standards encompass the mandatory procedures, requirements, and standards of the Crown Gold Exchange system, as determined by Crown Gold Franchising. These standards can include requirements for technology, such as computers, software, and communication systems.
For a prospective Crown Gold Exchange franchisee, this means they must adhere to the technology standards set by the franchisor. This includes using specific computer hardware and software, point-of-sale systems, information management systems, security systems, and communication systems. Franchisees are also obligated to keep their software updated and secure, and to provide Crown Gold Franchising with access to their point of sale and other software systems.
The franchisee must also enter into any subscription and support agreements that Crown Gold Franchising may require. The franchisee is responsible for protecting the confidentiality and security of all software systems related to the Crown Gold Exchange business. These standards ensure uniformity and consistency across all Crown Gold Exchange locations, which helps maintain brand integrity and customer experience.
Crown Gold Franchising also has the right to vary or waive any System Standard for any one or more Crown Gold Exchange franchises due to the peculiarities of the particular site or circumstances. However, the franchisee is not entitled to the same variation or waiver.
