What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crown Gold Exchange's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is solely responsible for all hiring decisions and conditions of employment at their franchise location. While Crown Gold Exchange provides support and guidance, the ultimate responsibility rests with the franchisee.
Crown Gold Exchange offers suggested staffing levels and guidelines for hiring employees, as well as operational instructions in the Brand Standards Manual that franchisees can use for training. The franchisor also provides initial training programs and may offer on-site support during the business opening to assist in employee training. However, these are advisory, and the franchisee makes the final decisions.
This means that as a Crown Gold Exchange franchisee, you have the autonomy to choose your employees and set the terms of their employment. However, you also bear the full responsibility for complying with all applicable employment laws and regulations. This includes managing wages, benefits, and workplace conditions. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the implications of this responsibility and ensure they are prepared to handle all aspects of employment management.
