What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crown Gold Exchange Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must acquire all required inputs in accordance with the System Standards. Crown Gold Exchange has the authority to mandate that franchisees purchase or lease inputs from specific sources, including Crown Gold Exchange itself, its designees, Required Vendors, or Approved Vendors, and/or according to Crown Gold Exchange's specifications. These requirements and vendor statuses are communicated through the System Standards.
Crown Gold Exchange retains the right to modify these requirements or change the status of any vendor. To implement such changes, Crown Gold Exchange will issue the appropriate System Standards. This means that franchisees must stay informed of any updates to the System Standards to ensure they are sourcing inputs from the correct vendors and in compliance with the franchisor's requirements.
If a franchisee wishes to use a vendor not already approved, they must seek approval from Crown Gold Exchange. The franchisor may impose criteria for approval, assessing factors such as the vendor's capacity, quality, financial stability, reputation, and reliability. Crown Gold Exchange will provide written notification of approval or disapproval within 30 days of receiving the franchisee's request. This process ensures that all vendors meet Crown Gold Exchange's standards for quality and reliability, maintaining consistency across the franchise system.
