- 5.2 Assistance in Hiring Employees. Crown Gold Franchising shall provide its suggested staffing levels to Franchisee. Crown Gold Franchising shall provide suggested guidelines for hiring employees. All hiring decisions and conditions of employment are Franchisee's sole responsibility.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crown Gold Exchange Franchise Disclosure Document, Crown Gold Exchange will provide suggested staffing levels to franchisees. However, the FDD also states that all hiring decisions and conditions of employment are the franchisee's sole responsibility.
Crown Gold Exchange may also set minimum qualifications for categories of employees employed by the franchisee. Franchisees must also ensure their personnel comply with any dress attire, uniform, personal appearance, and hygiene standards set forth in the manual.
Ultimately, the franchisee is solely responsible for the terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, compensation, and termination. The franchisee is also solely responsible for all actions of its personnel. Crown Gold Exchange and the franchisee are not considered joint employers, and no employee of the franchisee will be considered an agent or employee of Crown Gold Exchange.
