Length of Time to Open
The typical length of time between signing the franchise agreement and the opening of your business is 3-6 months. Factors that may affect the time period include your ability to obtain a lease, obtain financing, develop your location, obtain business permits and licenses, and hire employees.
Our Post-Opening Obligations
After you open your business:
- A. Developing products or services you will offer to your customers. Although it is our intent and practice to refine and develop products or services that you will offer to your customers, the franchise agreement does not obligate us to do so.
- B. Hiring and training employees. We will provide you with our suggested staffing levels (Section 5.2), suggested guidelines for hiring employees (Section 5.2), and operational instructions in the Manual which you can use as part of training new employees (Section 5.3).

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crown Gold Exchange Franchise Disclosure Document, Crown Gold Exchange will have a representative provide on-site support for at least 3 to 5 days in connection with the business opening. This support also includes assisting franchisees in training employees.
In addition to on-site support, Crown Gold Exchange offers assistance in other areas. They will advise franchisees regarding the planning and execution of their market introduction plan. Crown Gold Exchange also provides franchisees with suggested staffing levels and guidelines for hiring employees, as well as operational instructions in the Brand Standards Manual for training new employees.
While Crown Gold Exchange offers support in employee training, all hiring decisions and employment conditions remain the sole responsibility of the franchisee. This means franchisees must ensure they comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations. The Brand Standards Manual will be accessible to the franchisee. Franchisees must also develop a market introduction plan and obtain approval from Crown Gold Exchange at least 30 days before the projected opening date.
