What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crown Gold Exchange Franchise Disclosure Document, any notice under the franchise agreement must be in writing and delivered to specific addresses. For the franchisee, the notice should be addressed to the address set forth in the Summary Page of the agreement. For Crown Gold Franchising, the address is 30352 Esperanza, Rancho Santa Margarita CA 92688. Either party can designate a new address for notices by providing notice of the new address as described in the franchise agreement.

Notices are considered effective upon receipt or first rejection. Acceptable delivery methods include personal delivery, registered or certified U.S. mail with return receipt requested, or overnight courier.

However, there is an exception: Crown Gold Franchising can amend the Manual, give binding notice of changes to System Standards, and deliver notices of default by electronic mail or other electronic communication. This means that while most formal notices require physical delivery, Crown Gold Exchange retains the option to use electronic methods for specific types of communication, offering them more flexibility in these instances.
