What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crown Gold Exchange Franchise Disclosure Document, the Principal Executive of a Crown Gold Exchange franchise must maintain a minimum of 10% ownership interest in the franchise. The Principal Executive is the person primarily responsible for the business and has decision-making authority on behalf of the franchisee.

While the Principal Executive does not need to be the day-to-day general manager, they must devote substantial time and attention to the business. This ensures that someone with a vested interest and decision-making power is actively involved in the franchise's operations.

If the Principal Executive dies, becomes incapacitated, transfers their interest, or otherwise ceases to be the executive primarily responsible, the franchisee must promptly designate a new Principal Executive, subject to Crown Gold Franchising's approval. This requirement helps maintain consistent leadership and accountability within the franchise.
