What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crown Gold Exchange Franchise Disclosure Document, Goldmember, LLC issues the Location Acceptance Letter for a Crown Gold Exchange franchise. The Location Acceptance Letter confirms the location and territory granted to the franchisee.
Before a Location Acceptance Letter is issued, the franchisee must submit a proposed location to Crown Gold Franchising for acceptance, along with any related information the franchisor requests. Crown Gold Franchising has 30 days to either accept or reject the proposed location in writing. Failure to respond within 30 days is deemed a rejection.
The Location Acceptance Letter, in the form of Attachment 2, specifies both the location and the territory granted to the franchisee. Crown Gold Franchising determines the territory at its discretion, following the guidelines in Item 12 of the Franchise Disclosure Document. If the territory is not defined in writing within 60 days after the business opens, the territory will default to the zip code of the franchised business and the surrounding zip codes, encompassing a total population of 50,000.
The franchisee is required to develop and operate the Crown Gold Exchange business at the approved location for the entire term of the franchise agreement. This letter is an important document as it legally binds the franchisee to the specific location and territory, and it confirms that the franchisor has approved the site for operation.
