- 11.6 Innovations. Franchisee shall disclose to Crown Gold Franchising all ideas, plans, improvements, concepts, methods and techniques relating to the Business (collectively, "Innovations") conceived or developed by Franchisee, its employees, agents or contractors. Crown Gold Franchising will automatically own all Innovations, and it will have the right to use and incorporate any Innovations into the System, without any compensation to Franchisee. Franchisee shall execute any documents reasonably requested by Crown Gold Franchising to document Crown Gold Franchising's ownership of Innovations.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crown Gold Exchange franchisees must disclose any ideas, plans, improvements, concepts, methods, and techniques related to the business that they, their employees, agents, or contractors conceive or develop. These are referred to as "Innovations" and are automatically owned by Crown Gold Franchising.
Crown Gold Franchising has the right to use and incorporate any Innovations into their system without providing any compensation to the franchisee. This means that if a franchisee develops a new method that significantly improves business operations, Crown Gold Exchange can implement that method across all franchises without paying the innovating franchisee.
To formally document Crown Gold Franchising's ownership of these Innovations, the franchisee is required to execute any documents that Crown Gold Franchising reasonably requests. This ensures that Crown Gold Franchising has the legal documentation necessary to protect its ownership of the Innovations. Franchisees should be aware of this obligation and be prepared to comply with any such requests from Crown Gold Franchising.
