What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crown Gold Exchange Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Standards Manual can be revised. The FDD defines the "Manual" as Crown Gold Franchising's confidential Brand Standards Manual(s), including any supplements, additions, or revisions from time to time, which may be in any form or media. This indicates that the manual is not static and can be updated periodically.

Crown Gold Exchange retains the right to supplement, revise, or modify the Manual, and change, add, or delete System Standards at any time at its discretion. The method of informing franchisees of these changes is also at Crown Gold Exchange's discretion, and does not necessarily require formal notice. In case of disputes regarding the Manual's content, Crown Gold Franchising's master copy will be the controlling document.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the operational guidelines and standards for running a Crown Gold Exchange business can change. Franchisees must stay informed of these changes, as compliance with the most current version of the Manual is mandatory. While Crown Gold Exchange has the right to make these changes, franchisees should maintain open communication with the franchisor to understand the reasons behind the changes and how they impact their business. This flexibility allows Crown Gold Exchange to adapt to market changes and maintain brand consistency, but it also places a responsibility on franchisees to remain adaptable and informed.
