Crown_Gold_Exchange Franchise · 2024 FDD

Answer from 2024 FDD Document

Your franchise agreement will specify a territory, which will be determined by us. The territory will include a defined area and will generally be documented as a 50,000-population

center or a 5-mile radius from the location, whichever is less. Territories will be mapped based on the individual market circumstances for each unit sold. We will map out an area based on market research and the most recent available census data to come to territory modeling conclusions.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crown Gold Exchange's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the territory granted to a franchisee is specified in the franchise agreement and determined by Crown Gold Exchange. The territory typically includes a defined area, generally documented as either a 50,000-population center or a 5-mile radius from the location, whichever is less.

Crown Gold Exchange bases its territory mapping on individual market circumstances for each unit sold. To determine the territory, Crown Gold Exchange conducts market research and uses the most recent available census data to develop territory modeling conclusions. This indicates that the franchisor considers demographic and market factors when defining a franchise's territory.

It's important to note that the franchisee does not have the right to relocate their business, and Crown Gold Exchange is not obligated to approve relocation requests. Relocation is considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account factors like changes in demographics, the profitability of the current business, or loss of premises due to circumstances beyond the franchisee's control. Additionally, franchisees do not have the right to establish additional franchised outlets unless they sign a Multi-Unit Development Agreement (MUDA) with Crown Gold Exchange.
