What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crown Gold Exchange Franchise Disclosure Document, Crown Gold Exchange does not have an advertising council composed of franchisees. The FDD also states that the franchise agreement does not give Crown Gold Exchange the power to form an advertising council.

Crown Gold Exchange uses outside vendors and consultants to produce advertising. Crown Gold Exchange is not required to spend any amount on advertising in the area or territory where any particular franchisee is located and will maintain the brand website. The franchisee may use their own advertising or marketing material only with Crown Gold Exchange's approval, which requires submitting the material at least 14 days prior to use. If Crown Gold Exchange does not respond, the material is deemed rejected. Crown Gold Exchange may use any advertising or marketing materials developed by the franchisee for any purpose, without any payment to the franchisee.

As a Crown Gold Exchange franchisee, you are required to develop a market introduction plan and obtain Crown Gold Exchange's approval of the plan at least 30 days before the projected opening date of your business. This means franchisees need to be proactive in their local marketing efforts, but must adhere to the franchisor's approval process.
