What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crisp Academy is provided on a rolling, as-needed basis within the 90-day period before the Franchised Restaurant opens. This means that the training program, which lasts approximately three weeks, is designed to be completed in the months leading up to the grand opening.
Crisp & Green requires the franchisee (or the Operating Partner), General Manager, Approved Operator (if applicable), and at least two other management-level employees to participate in Crisp Academy. The franchisee or Operating Partner only needs to participate in the first week of training. This ensures that key personnel are adequately trained before the restaurant begins operations.
In addition to the initial Crisp Academy, Crisp & Green also provides Opening Training, which consists of seven days of onsite training immediately surrounding the grand opening. This additional training is provided by at least one member of the Crisp & Green staff to the franchisee, Operating Partner, General Manager, Approved Operator, assistant managers, and employees. This dual-phase training approach—Crisp Academy followed by onsite Opening Training—aims to ensure a smooth and successful restaurant launch.
