What This Means (2024 FDD)
Based on the 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crisp & Green requires franchisees to maintain specific standards for catering and delivery services. Franchisees must maintain the condition and appearance of vehicles, serveware, and equipment used for catering and delivery to align with Crisp & Green's brand image. This implies that franchisees may need to replace these items to meet the franchisor's standards.
Specifically, the franchisee is responsible for ensuring that all catering and delivery equipment is up to standard. This includes maintaining vehicles in good condition, ensuring serveware is clean and attractive, and keeping all equipment in efficient working order. If these items do not meet Crisp & Green's standards, the franchisee will need to replace them.
Failure to comply with these requirements can lead to Crisp & Green temporarily suspending or permanently terminating the franchisee's right to offer catering or delivery services. The franchisor can also restrict the geographic area where the franchisee is allowed to provide these services. Therefore, franchisees must invest in maintaining and, if necessary, replacing vehicles, serveware, and equipment to avoid penalties and uphold the brand's image.
