What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crisp & Green Franchise Disclosure Document, Crisp & Green may sell items and services to franchisees before they open their Franchised Restaurant. Specifically, Crisp & Green, or its affiliates that are approved suppliers, may sell items and services for which they are an approved supplier.

Before opening a Crisp & Green franchise, franchisees must prepare all required construction and remodeling plans and specifications to suit their Franchised Restaurant and to construct, remodel and decorate the premises. Franchisees must submit all site surveys, construction and remodeling plans, and specifications to Crisp & Green for approval before beginning build-out for the Franchised Restaurant and all revised or "as built" plans and specifications during construction and development. Franchisees must use Crisp & Green's required architectural vendor for the creation of the architectural plans for their Franchised Restaurant and must obtain a site survey from one of Crisp & Green's approved vendors.

Crisp & Green also provides pre-opening assistance under the Franchise Agreement, including describing the preliminary designated area and designated area, reviewing and making a decision regarding approval of sites for the Franchised Restaurant, and providing sample floor plans and layouts for a Restaurant to assist in locating and developing an appropriate site. However, franchisees are solely responsible for ensuring that the design and construction or remodeling of their Franchised Restaurant meets with all requirements of federal, state, or local laws and regulations.
