Does Crisp & Green have the right to maintain other websites besides the System Website?

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crisp & Green retains the right to maintain websites other than the System Website. The franchise agreement does not limit Crisp & Green's ability to offer and sell products and services under the Marks from the System Website, another website, or otherwise over the internet without payment or other obligation.

This means that Crisp & Green has the flexibility to operate multiple websites for various purposes, such as marketing specific products, targeting different customer segments, or testing new initiatives. This could benefit franchisees by expanding the brand's online presence and potentially driving more customers to the System as a whole.

However, franchisees are restricted in their own ability to create websites. Franchisees must include the System Website URL on all marketing materials and cannot develop or maintain any other website or online presence that mentions the Franchised Restaurant or displays any of the Marks without prior approval from Crisp & Green. Franchisees also cannot conduct commerce or sell products or services related to the Franchised Restaurant over the internet without consent. This ensures that Crisp & Green maintains control over the brand's online image and sales channels.
