What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crisp & Green Franchise Disclosure Document, the location of the Franchised Restaurant's premises will be specified in Exhibit B of the franchise agreement. Exhibit B will define a "Designated Area" around the approved premises, based on Crisp & Green's criteria for size, demographics, and topographical features. This Designated Area remains constant throughout the initial term of the agreement unless the franchisee relocates.
Prior to premises approval, a Preliminary Designated Area may be identified in Exhibit B, giving the franchisee a 60-day window from the agreement's effective date where Crisp & Green will not grant another franchise in that area. However, once the premises are approved, Crisp & Green reserves the right to establish other locations outside the Designated Area, even if they compete with the franchisee's restaurant.
