What is the purpose of the Crisp & Green training programs?
Crisp_Green Franchise · 2024 FDDAnswer from 2024 FDD Document
You must immediately replace any manager who fails to successfully complete any training program to our satisfaction or who otherwise is not qualified to manage a Restaurant. You acknowledge and agree that the Initial Training, the Opening Training, and any Additional Training programs are provided to you and your personnel to protect our brand and the Marks and not to control the day-to-day operation of the Franchised Restaurant. We may, in our discretion, waive in whole or in part the requirement that any person attend the Initial Training or any other training if such person has already completed the Initial Training in the immediately preceding twelve (12) months in connection with the opening or operation of a different CRISP & GREEN Restaurant.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crisp & Green Franchise Disclosure Document, the training programs are designed to protect the Crisp & Green brand and Marks, rather than to control the day-to-day operations of the franchised restaurant. This means that the training is focused on ensuring that franchisees and their staff adhere to the brand's standards and maintain consistency across all locations.
The FDD also states that Crisp & Green may require franchisees to replace any manager who does not successfully complete the training program. This highlights the importance Crisp & Green places on ensuring that all managers are adequately trained and qualified to manage a restaurant. However, Crisp & Green retains the discretion to waive training requirements for individuals who have recently completed the initial training in connection with another Crisp & Green restaurant.
In addition to initial and ongoing training, Crisp & Green will furnish periodic guidance with respect to the System, including improvements and changes to the System. Such guidance, at their discretion, will be furnished in the form of the Operations Manual, bulletins and other written materials, consultations by telephone or in person at our offices or at the Franchised Restaurant, or by any other means of communications. At your request, they may provide special assistance for which you will be required to pay the per diem fees and charges they may establish at any time and from time to time.
