What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a member of their staff will provide additional training at the franchisee's restaurant during the opening week. This training is provided to the franchisee, their Operating Partner, General Manager, Approved Operator (if applicable), assistant managers, and employees. The opening training may include days before the opening and days of live training after the restaurant opens.

Crisp & Green may also provide additional training beyond the opening training if they determine it is necessary to ensure a smooth opening, to provide additional types of required training to franchisees generally, or if the franchisee requests it. If additional training is conducted, the franchisee is required to reimburse Crisp & Green for costs, including lodging, meals, and travel arrangements for the trainers, and pay $500 per day for each individual they provide to assist.

The franchisee is responsible for all compensation and expenses incurred by them and their personnel in connection with the Opening Training and any Additional Training, regardless of where it is conducted. This means that while Crisp & Green provides the trainers, the franchisee bears the financial responsibility for their team's participation and any extra support requested or deemed necessary by Crisp & Green.
