What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crisp & Green does provide creative development services. These services include improvements and iterations in Restaurant design, trade dress, logo, further development of the Marks or creation of additional Marks, graphics, and advertising and promotional items, initiatives, and concepts.
This means that Crisp & Green franchisees will receive support from the franchisor in maintaining and updating the restaurant's design and branding. This support extends to various elements, such as the restaurant's layout, visual appearance, logo, and marketing materials. The franchisor's involvement aims to ensure brand consistency and appeal across all franchise locations.
However, franchisees are responsible for preparing all required construction and remodeling plans and specifications to suit their Franchised Restaurant and to construct, remodel and decorate the premises. Franchisees must submit all site surveys, construction and remodeling plans, and specifications to Crisp & Green for approval before beginning build-out for the Franchised Restaurant and all revised or "as built" plans and specifications during construction and development. Crisp & Green has a required architectural vendor who the franchisee must use for the creation of the architectural plans for the Franchised Restaurant.
