What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crisp & Green retains the right to establish and operate, and grant to others the right to operate, Crisp & Green Restaurants, or other restaurants using any part or all of the System and/or Marks, that are located at or operated from Non-Traditional Sites within or outside the Designated Area.

For a potential franchisee, this means that Crisp & Green can open locations at non-traditional sites such as military bases, shopping malls, airports, sports venues, educational facilities, and other similar locations, regardless of whether these sites are within or outside of your designated area. This also means that Crisp & Green can grant others the right to open restaurants at these non-traditional sites.

This reservation of rights allows Crisp & Green to pursue opportunities in unique venues and locations, which could potentially increase brand visibility and overall revenue. However, it also means that a franchisee's territory might not be exclusive in practice, as Crisp & Green could establish locations in non-traditional sites within or near the franchisee's designated area. This could lead to competition for customers and potentially impact the franchisee's revenue.
