What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a minimum of one staff member will provide Opening Training to the franchisee, their Operating Partner, General Manager, Approved Operator (if applicable), assistant managers, and employees at the Franchised Restaurant. This training occurs onsite for seven days immediately surrounding the grand opening, and Crisp & Green does not charge for these initial seven days of training.

However, if Crisp & Green determines that additional training is needed for a smooth opening, it will be provided at a cost of $500 per day for each individual sent to assist. The franchisee is responsible for compensating their personnel and covering their expenses related to the Opening Training, including providing meals at the Franchised Restaurant for the Crisp & Green team while they are onsite.

This means that while the initial week of support is included, franchisees need to budget for potential additional training costs if deemed necessary by Crisp & Green. Franchisees should also factor in the cost of employee compensation, expenses, and meals for the training team, which can add up quickly depending on the number of staff being trained and the duration of any extended training period.
