What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, in addition to Crisp Academy, a minimum of one staff member will provide additional training to the franchisee, their Operating Partner, General Manager, Approved Operator (if applicable), assistant managers, and employees onsite at the Franchised Restaurant in connection with the grand opening, referred to as the "Opening Training". This Opening Training consists of seven days of onsite training immediately surrounding the grand opening.

Crisp & Green does not charge for the first seven days of Opening Training. However, if Crisp & Green determines that additional Opening Training is necessary to ensure a smooth opening, such additional training will be provided at a cost of $500 per day for each individual they send to assist.

The franchisee is responsible for all compensation and expenses incurred by them and their personnel in connection with the Opening Training, as well as comped meals in the Franchised Restaurant when the Crisp & Green team is onsite. This means franchisees need to budget not only for their staff's time but also for meals provided to the training team during the opening period.
