What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crisp & Green will use reasonable efforts to either approve or disapprove a proposed site for a Franchised Restaurant within thirty (30) days after receiving the site approval package from the franchisee. If Crisp & Green does not provide written notice of approval or disapproval within this 30-day period, the site is deemed disapproved.
This means a prospective Crisp & Green franchisee needs to submit a complete site approval package in the format specified by Crisp & Green. The package should contain all information and materials that Crisp & Green reasonably requires for site evaluation. It is important for the franchisee to gather all necessary documentation to avoid delays in the approval process.
The FDD also clarifies that site approval by Crisp & Green does not guarantee the site's suitability or profitability. The franchisee acknowledges that their acceptance of the franchise is based on their own independent investigation of the site's suitability. This highlights the importance of conducting thorough due diligence on any proposed location, even after receiving approval from Crisp & Green.
