Under the Franchise Agreement: During the operation of your Franchised Restaurant, we will:
- (1) Advise you regarding your Franchised Restaurant's operations. We will give you advice and written materials, including our Operations Manual, to guide you on standards, specifications, operating procedures, and methods that Restaurants use in our System in accordance with our Standards; purchasing required or recommended products, supplies, and materials; and other matters. (Franchise Agreement Section 4.02)
- At our option and discretion, provide you or your personnel with additional training, at your cost and expense (Franchise Agreement Section 4.03).
- (3) Provide you with ongoing access to our Operations Manual (Franchise Agreement Section 4.04).
- (4) Maintain, modify, and issue the Standards. We will maintain the Standards for the System, and may from time to time modify such Standards or issue new Standards. Changes in the Standards may require you to invest additional capital in order to bring your Franchised Restaurant into compliance with such modified Standards, and you will be required to do so within time periods specified by us. - Provide you with the right to use the Marks for your Franchised Restaurant (Franchise Agreement Section 2.01).
(6) As applicable from time to time, sell (or cause our affiliates that are approved suppliers, as applicable, to sell) to you products and services for which we or our affiliates are an approved supplier (Franchise Agreement – Section 9.03).
As the Area Development Agreement relates to the development of Franchised Restaurants, the Area Development Agreement does not require us to provide any other assistance or services during the operation of your Franchised Restaurant.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the franchise location opens, Crisp & Green will advise franchisees regarding the Franchised Restaurant's operations. This includes advice and written materials such as the Operations Manual to guide franchisees on standards, specifications, operating procedures, and methods that Restaurants use in the Crisp & Green system. This guidance also extends to purchasing required or recommended products, supplies, and materials, as well as other operational matters. Crisp & Green may also provide additional training to the franchisee or their personnel, though this is at the franchisee's cost and expense.
Crisp & Green also provides ongoing access to their Operations Manual, which contains standards and information on the franchisee's obligations under the Franchise Agreement. Crisp & Green retains the right to modify or update the Operations Manual to reflect changes in their standards. Franchisees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Operations Manual, restricting access to only those personnel who need to know the information and who agree to keep it confidential. Franchisees are not allowed to print, copy, reproduce, or record any part of the Operations Manual. Replacement copies are available for a fee.
Prospective franchisees should note that while the Operations Manual may contain personnel or security-related policies, these are offered for optional use only and do not form part of Crisp & Green's standards. Franchisees are solely responsible for all personnel and security-related policies and procedures at their Franchised Restaurant and must decide whether and to what extent to use these optional policies.
