What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee for a single franchised restaurant is $64,500. This fee is payable in a lump sum when signing the Franchise Agreement with Crisp & Green. This fee grants the franchisee the right to operate a Crisp & Green restaurant under the company's brand name and system.
It's important to note that this fee applies to franchisees who are not entering into an Area Development Agreement. If a franchisee chooses to sign an Area Development Agreement, they will instead pay a Development Fee of $54,900 multiplied by the number of restaurants they agree to develop. In this case, the initial franchise fee is waived for each restaurant developed under the Area Development Agreement.
Prospective franchisees should also be aware that after applying to become a franchisee and after the 14-day waiting period following receipt of the disclosure document, they will be required to sign a letter of intent and undergo a background check, including a criminal/civil record search and a credit check. Crisp & Green will not finalize any agreements until the results of these checks are received and deemed satisfactory. If the background or credit check reveals issues that make the applicant unsuitable, Crisp & Green reserves the right to reject the applicant and terminate any agreements.
