You must submit all site surveys, plans and specifications to us for our approval before starting to develop the Premises. In particular, you must provide us with the site survey and architectural plans for your design and construction or remodeling of the Premises at least thirty (30) days prior to the anticipated commencement date of construction or remodeling. At our request, you must submit to us all revised or "as built" plans and specifications. All development must be in accordance with the plans and specifications we have approved, and must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances and local rules and regulations. All plans and specifications for the Franchised Restaurant shall be our sole and exclusive property.
Our review and approval of your plans are solely for the purpose of assurance of compliance with our standards and are not designed to assess compliance with federal, state or local laws and regulations, including without limitation the ADA, as compliance with such laws
is your sole responsibility. By approving your plans or specifications or inspecting the Premises, we do not assume any liability or responsibility to you or to any third parties.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, before starting to develop the premises for your franchise, you must submit all site surveys, plans, and specifications to Crisp & Green for their approval. Specifically, you must provide the site survey and architectural plans for your design and construction or remodeling of the premises at least thirty (30) days prior to the anticipated commencement date of construction or remodeling. Crisp & Green may also request that you submit all revised or "as built" plans and specifications.
It is important to note that all development must align with the approved plans and specifications and comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, and local rules and regulations. Additionally, all plans and specifications for the Franchised Restaurant become the sole and exclusive property of Crisp & Green.
Crisp & Green's review and approval of your plans are solely to ensure compliance with their standards and do not assess compliance with federal, state, or local laws and regulations, including the ADA. Compliance with these laws remains your sole responsibility. Crisp & Green does not assume any liability or responsibility to you or any third parties by approving your plans or inspecting the premises. You must open the Franchised Restaurant in compliance with Crisp & Green's standards within nine (9) months after the Effective Date.
