What does the high end of the Crisp & Green training estimate assume?

Crisp_Green Franchise · 2024 FDD

Answer from 2024 FDD Document

There is no separate fee payable to us in connection with Crisp Academy, our initial training program, for up to four people.

You will be responsible for making arrangements for travel, accommodations, and meals for your personnel attending Crisp Academy, and you will be responsible for making payments directly to third party providers.

The estimate contemplates local accommodations and meals for four people during three weeks of Crisp Academy in Minnesota.

The low end of the estimate assumes that you and the individuals attending training reside within driving distance of the training location, and the high end assumes travel will be needed, although expenses may vary significantly depending upon factors such as the distance traveled and mode of transportation.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the high end of the estimated cost for travel and living expenses during training at Crisp Academy assumes that travel will be needed for you and up to three other people. The total estimated cost for travel and living expenses while training ranges from $2,500 to $7,500.

This means that if you and your team live far from the training location in Minnesota, you should expect to pay closer to the $7,500 estimate to cover transportation, accommodations, and meals. The FDD notes that these expenses may vary significantly depending upon factors such as the distance traveled and mode of transportation.

It's important to consider this range when budgeting for your initial investment, as these costs are in addition to the initial franchise fee and other startup expenses. Prospective franchisees should factor in the distance to the training location and preferred mode of transport when estimating training costs.
