What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Crisp & Green does not provide written notice of approval or disapproval of a proposed site within thirty days after receiving the site approval package from the franchisee, the site is considered disapproved. This means the franchisee cannot move forward with that specific location.

This stipulation places a responsibility on Crisp & Green to review submitted sites promptly. However, it also means the franchisee must continue searching for and submitting new sites for approval until one is accepted. This process could potentially delay the opening of the franchise and requires the franchisee to maintain an active search for suitable locations.

It is important to note that even if Crisp & Green approves a site, this approval does not act as a guarantee or warranty of the site's suitability or potential success. The franchisee bears the ultimate responsibility for the site's performance and ensuring it meets their expectations for revenue and operational criteria. The FDD clearly states that Crisp & Green is not liable if an approved site fails to meet the franchisee's expectations.
