What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Crisp & Green Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must acknowledge that their business success is largely dependent on their own abilities, efforts, and financial resources. This acknowledgment is part of understanding the terms of the Franchise Agreement, which the franchisee accepts as reasonably necessary to maintain the brand's high-quality standards. This requirement highlights that Crisp & Green does not guarantee the franchisee's success.

This acknowledgment underscores the importance of the franchisee's role in the success of their Crisp & Green restaurant. While Crisp & Green provides a comprehensive system, brand recognition, and support, the franchisee's business acumen, dedication, and financial stability are critical for navigating the competitive restaurant industry and adapting to changing market conditions.

Prospective Crisp & Green franchisees should carefully consider their own capabilities and resources before investing in a franchise. They should conduct thorough due diligence, assess their financial situation, and evaluate their ability to manage and operate a restaurant effectively. Understanding and accepting this dependency is a crucial step in making an informed decision about joining the Crisp & Green franchise system. Franchisees also must truthfully fill out the Franchisee Acknowledgment attached as Exhibit F.

This type of acknowledgement is standard practice in the franchise industry, as the success of any franchised business depends heavily on the individual franchisee's management and operational skills. Franchisees should not rely on any guarantees or assurances of revenue, profits, or success from Crisp & Green.
