Crisp_Green Franchise · 2024 FDD

Answer from 2024 FDD Document

There is no separate fee payable to us in connection with Crisp Academy, our initial training program, for up to four people.

You will be responsible for making arrangements for travel, accommodations, and meals for your personnel attending Crisp Academy, and you will be responsible for making payments directly to third party providers.

The estimate contemplates local accommodations and meals for four people during three weeks of Crisp Academy in Minnesota.

The low end of the estimate assumes that you and the individuals attending training reside within driving distance of the training location, and the high end assumes travel will be needed, although expenses may vary significantly depending upon factors such as the distance traveled and mode of transportation.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the cost of travel and living expenses while training can vary significantly. While there is no separate training fee for up to four people to attend Crisp Academy, franchisees are responsible for covering the costs of travel, accommodations, and meals for their personnel. The FDD estimates these expenses to range from $2,500 to $7,500.

The primary factor influencing this range is the distance traveled and the mode of transportation used. The lower end of the estimate assumes that the franchisee and their team reside within driving distance of the training location in Minnesota, thereby minimizing travel costs. Conversely, the higher end of the estimate accounts for the need for air travel and potentially more expensive accommodations.

Prospective Crisp & Green franchisees should consider their proximity to the training location and plan their travel arrangements accordingly to manage these expenses effectively. It's also important to note that these estimates are for local accommodations and meals for four people during the three-week training period, so any additional personnel or extended stays would further impact the overall cost.
