What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, while there is no separate fee payable to Crisp & Green for up to four people attending Crisp Academy, the initial training program, franchisees are responsible for covering certain expenses. Specifically, the franchisee must arrange and pay for the travel, accommodations, and meals for their personnel attending the training program directly to third-party providers.

The FDD estimates that these travel and living expenses while training will range from $2,500 to $7,500. This estimate considers local accommodations and meals for four people during three weeks of Crisp Academy in Minnesota. The lower end of the estimate assumes that the franchisee and their personnel reside within driving distance of the training location, while the higher end accounts for travel expenses. However, the document notes that actual expenses may vary significantly based on factors such as distance traveled and mode of transportation.

Prospective Crisp & Green franchisees should factor these costs into their initial investment calculations. It is advisable to research travel and accommodation options in Minnesota to get a more precise estimate based on the franchisee's specific circumstances. Franchisees should also consider the cost of meals, which can vary depending on dietary preferences and restaurant choices. Planning these logistics and budgeting accordingly will help ensure a smooth and cost-effective training experience at Crisp Academy.
