What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Confidential Information includes proprietary details related to the operation of Crisp & Green restaurants. This encompasses a range of sensitive data that is crucial to the brand's identity and success.

Specifically, with respect to computer systems, Confidential Information includes 'computer systems and software programs.' This means that any software, hardware configurations, network setups, or other digital infrastructure used in the operation of a Crisp & Green franchise is considered confidential. Franchisees are obligated to protect this information and prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

This definition is important because it restricts a franchisee's ability to share or utilize Crisp & Green's technological assets outside of the franchised business. It ensures that the computer systems and software programs that contribute to the brand's operations remain exclusive to Crisp & Green and its franchisees, maintaining a competitive advantage and consistency across all locations.
