What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Crisp Academy is not provided on a fixed schedule. Instead, it operates on a rolling, as-needed basis within the 90-day period before the opening of a franchised restaurant.
This means that franchisees and their staff will attend training closer to their restaurant's launch date, allowing for more relevant and timely information. Crisp Academy consists of approximately three weeks of classroom-style and in-restaurant live training at the Corporate Restaurant in Wayzata, Minnesota, or another restaurant at Crisp & Green's discretion.
Crisp & Green does not charge training fees for the first four members of the franchisee's training group. However, they may charge $500 per day for each additional member. The franchisee is responsible for covering all compensation and expenses, including travel, meals, and lodging, for themselves and their training group while attending the training programs.
In addition to Crisp Academy, Crisp & Green also provides Opening Training, which consists of seven days of onsite training immediately surrounding the grand opening of the restaurant. If Crisp & Green determines that additional Opening Training is necessary, it will be provided at a cost of $500 per day for each individual sent to assist.
