Training
Within 90 days prior to the opening of your Franchised Restaurant, you will be required to participate in "Crisp Academy," our initial training program. Your General Manager, Approved Operator (if applicable), and at least two other management level employees we approve, such as an assistant general manager and kitchen manager, must participate in Crisp Academy, which consists of three weeks of training conducted at our Corporate Restaurant located in Wayzata, Minnesota, or at another one of the Restaurants, via electronic media, or some combination of these options, in our discretion. The franchisee (or, with respect to entity franchisees, the Operating Partner or another entity representative approved by us) must also participate in the first week of Crisp Academy. Any replacement General Manager or Approved Operator must complete Crisp Academy to our reasonable satisfaction, and we may charge additional fees of $500 per day for the training for this rep

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Crisp & Green's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Crisp Academy initial training program may be conducted at several locations. The primary location is the Corporate Restaurant in Wayzata, Minnesota. However, Crisp & Green has the discretion to conduct the training at another one of the Restaurants, via electronic media, or through a combination of these options.
This flexibility allows Crisp & Green to adapt the training location based on factors such as the number of trainees, available resources, and current operational needs. For franchisees, this means they should be prepared to travel to Wayzata, Minnesota, or another restaurant location for the training. Alternatively, they may participate in training remotely via electronic media.
The franchisee (or Operating Partner/approved entity representative) must participate in the first week of Crisp Academy. The General Manager, Approved Operator (if applicable), and at least two other management-level employees (like an assistant general manager and kitchen manager) are required to attend the full three-week Crisp Academy program. Any replacement General Manager or Approved Operator must also complete Crisp Academy to Crisp & Green's satisfaction, potentially incurring additional fees of $500 per day for the training.
