What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Crisp & Green Franchise Disclosure Document, a General Manager's role is crucial to the daily operations of a franchised restaurant. To ensure their full dedication, Crisp & Green prohibits the General Manager from engaging in any other business activity, whether directly or indirectly, that demands significant management responsibilities or time commitments. This restriction is in place to prevent any interference with their primary role as the General Manager.
This requirement ensures that the General Manager can fully dedicate their time and effort to running the Crisp & Green restaurant effectively. By preventing outside business activities, Crisp & Green aims to maintain a high level of operational efficiency and customer service at each location. This also protects the brand's reputation and ensures that the General Manager's focus remains solely on the success of the franchise.
If a franchisee operates the restaurant without an approved General Manager who has completed the required training programs, Crisp & Green may charge a fee of up to $1,500 per day. This underscores the importance Crisp & Green places on having a qualified and fully committed General Manager in place. This policy is designed to ensure that all locations meet the brand's standards and provide a consistent customer experience.
